If you make things in Southern China, directing, shooting, cutting, scoring, writing, you have probably felt how scattered it all is. CCC is the room where that scene actually gathers. 300+ filmmakers and creatives across Guangzhou and Shenzhen, connected, working, in English.

So what is CCC, really?
It's the professional home for English-speaking filmmakers and creatives in Southern China. Not a one-off meetup, not a job board. A standing community of 300+ people who direct, shoot, produce, edit, write, design, shoot stills and make sound, with chapters in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Think of it as the connective tissue this region never had: the place you find collaborators, get vetted leads, and stop working in isolation.
Who is this actually for?
Anyone who works in storytelling and creative production. Directors, DPs, producers, editors, writers, actors, sound, design, VFX, colour, music, photographers. Students who are serious and pros who have been at it for years. The one thing everyone shares is a professional attitude toward the craft and toward each other.
What do you actually do?
We run screenings, workshops, and meetups where the work and the people are the point, and we keep the community alive between them. The day-to-day lives on our WeChat Official Account and Xiaohongshu (小红书), where members trade gigs, gear, and recommendations. This site is the home of record: the chapters, the events, the archive, the people.

Yes, fully. CCC only works because international and local talent are in the same room, and the local scene is half of what makes this region worth working in. The community runs in English by design, that is the common language that lets a director from Guangzhou and a DP from abroad actually work together. If your English is working, you belong here.
How do I get involved?
Follow us on WeChat and Xiaohongshu (小红书), that is where everything happens day to day and where the next event gets announced. Come to something.
